Wasabi Umeda is a Japanese izakaya on the 4th floor of the Gaza Hankyu building, just one minute on foot from Hankyu Osaka-umeda Station. All 96 seats are in fully enclosed rooms with doors, so you can relax, talk freely and enjoy your meal away from the crowds of Umeda.
Fresh fish arrives every morning from markets across Japan. Try the sashimi platter, our wagyu, sea urchin and salmon roe rice, red shrimp shabu-shabu, or Osaka's famous kushikatsu, paired with Japanese sake and shochu.

Are all seats private rooms?
Yes. All 96 seats are in fully enclosed private rooms with doors, from rooms for two to large party rooms.

Gaza Hankyu Building 4F-A, 1-3-1 Shibata, Kita-ku, Osaka 530-0012. A 1-minute walk from Hankyu Osaka-umeda Station.
What are your opening hours?
16:00–24:00 every day (last food order 23:00, last drink order 23:30). We are open all year round.
How much are the set courses?
Courses with all-you-can-drink start at ¥4000 (tax included). Courses at ¥4500, ¥5000 and ¥6000 include 2.5 or 3 hours of drinks. During busy times, the limit is 2 hours.
Can I order à la carte?
Yes. You can also choose an all-you-can-drink plan (¥1500 for 2 hours, premium ¥2000) and order dishes individually. A table charge and at least 2 food items per person are required with this plan.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes: VISA, JCB, AMEX, Mastercard and Diners Club.
Is smoking allowed?
No. The entire restaurant is non-smoking.
Can children come?
Guests under high-school age cannot be admitted.
